About us

Hello!  I'm Melinda Sanders and I am a wife and mother to two wonderful boys! I taught elementary school for 11 years and recently took a break when we moved from New Mexico to Pennsylvania.  I have always been very crafty and several years ago I began making t-shirts at Sunset Elementary in Carlsbad NM where I was teaching.  Word spread and I found my self making t-shirts for most of the schools in Carlsbad!  When we moved, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to officially start my current business and see how far I can take it! 

Ooh and Aah got its name because my youngest son is Owen (O in Ooh) and my oldest son is Austin (A in Aah).  

Update! In October of 2016, I took a leap and opened up a DIY studio where people can come create beautiful things and spend some time out with friends and family! We also have things ready made and will soon have a display for custom apparel.
